The value of a museum A museum is a way to get to know a place where you’ve decided to spend a holiday or even spend just a day or an out-of-town excursion. A museum usually tells the story of a place and the people who live there or used to. It is a short part of a much longer story. This is why a museum is worth a visit at the beginning of a stay, because it can be the launching point for subsequent tours, in the middle of a stay or even at the end of it like a collection of stories (and emotions) to take home.
